Tubifast® garments with TwoWay Stretch® technology are a range of ready-to-wear garments for use in wet or dry wrapping and dressing retention.

How do Tubifast® garments with TwoWay Stretch® technology work?
Ready-made Tubifast® garments with TwoWay Stretch® technology, for dressing retention and wet or dry wrapping, are available in full-sleeved vests, vests with integrated mittens (6-24 months only), tights, leggings, and socks (for children six months and over).
With no tapes, pins or ties, Tubifast® garments with TwoWay Stretch technology are easy to apply, and ensures complete freedom of movement.  Comfortable to wear under nightwear and ordinary clothes, they also help to promote fully active days and restful nights. 

Areas of use
Wet wrapping is a therapy used in the treatment of atopic eczema, and involves the use of an emollient under retention bandaging.  This can be done using the emollient, Epaderm® Ointment, together with Tubifast® garments or Tubifast® bandages.  An emollient is applied to the affected skin, which is then covered with a damp Tubifast garment with TwoWay Stretch® technology or bandage. Working together, the emollient and the damp layer keep the skin hydrated and moist, and help reduce inflammation.
